2014 EVENTS:


MARCH
• Due by: March 15, 2014. "Contest to design / illustrate a costume for a Cape Cod fish"
  Open to high school students, this is a contest to show off your design skills, incorporating
  the Cod fish. Nationally recognized illustrator Andrew Newman will be exhibiting his artworks
  from his illustrated Cod Card Series in the museum’s Chequaquet Gallery in February 2014.

APRIL
• "Fancy Nancy Tea" April 26, 2 - 4 PM
   Elegant and fancy tea party for young girls four to ten years.Guests, with accompanying adults,
   are invited to "come fancy".They will enjoy sweets and tea sandwiches and have fun
   with crafts, storytelling and games.
   $25 per person. Advance reservation required.

  "BLOOMERS TO BIKINIS - The Fashion of Beachwear" April 1 – August 30

MAY
• "Ladies Tea" May 3, 1 - 3 PM
   This ladies tea is another in a series of elegant and traditional teas. The presentation will
   feature a talk on 20th century fashion history.
   $20 members $25 nonmembers. Advance reservation required.

JUNE
• "6th Annual Spring Soiree" at The Captain David Kelley House June 6, 6 PM
   Lawn Soiree, live music, incredible edibles and libations, this year the theme is Lady in Red.
   Reservations by May 28.
   $40 members $50 nonmembers.

JULY
• "Summer Swimwear Fashion Show" Tuesday, July 1, 7 PM
   Bedroom I’s Boutique of Osterville is presenting Letarte swimwear hosted by the
   Centerville Historical Museum. This event celebrates the museum’s “Bloomers to Bikinis”
   exhibit and kicks off Bedroom I’s boutique’s three-day Letarte Swimwear trunk show.
   $15.00 per person to benefit the Museum, refreshments served, reservation recommended.

AUGUST
• "9th Annual Yard Sale" August 9, 9 AM - 3 PM
• "Main Street Walking Tour" August 9, 10:00 AM & 11:30 AM
   $3 per person.

OCTOBER
• "Progressive Dinner" October 4, 5:30 - 9:00 PM
   Appetizers at one home, dinner at another home, dessert at the museum.
   $50 members, $60 Nonmembers, reservations required.

NOVEMBER
• "Wine & Food Pairing" November 7, 6:30 PM
   Taste six different wines and sample foods that have been carefully chosen to complement each wine.
   $35 members, $40 Nonmembers, reservations required.

DECEMBER
• "Annual Christmas Silent Auction" December 2 - 8
   Gift Items, Gift Baskets, Gift Certificates
