JANUARY

FEBRUARY
• Saturday, February 5, 2PM. "Fancy Nancy Valentine Tea Party"
  Dress fancy and join us for an elegant tea party. Ages 4 to 8. Seating limited. (admission fee)

  Dave Downs, CHSM and Library, at Library.

MARCH
• Saturday, March 5, 12 - 2PM. "DECORATOR LUNCH"
  The Centerville Historical Museum is pleased to present a special luncheon program featuring
  Joan D’Ambrosia, who will offer ideas and insights on home decorating. This talented decorator
  will share her approach to home décor and her experiences as a designer.
  Call museum for reservations. Members $20, Nonmembers $25. Lunch is included.

APRIL
• Saturday, April 16, 1 - 3PM. "LADIES HIGH TEA"
  The elegance of our traditional high tea that you have come to expect, with a historic presentation,
  delicious edibles, fine tea, and raffle. The feature presentation will be "Folklore and traditions
  of weddings". Advance reservations are required. Members $20, Nonmembers $25.

MAY
• Saturday, May 7, 2 - 4PM. "Fancy Nancy Spring Tea Party"
  Dress fancy and join us for an elegant tea party, games, crafts, fancy parade, story time.
  Children 4 to 8 and their chaperone. Advanced paid reservations required. $25 per person.

• Tuesday, May 10, 9AM - 4PM. "Bus Trip - New Bedford Whaling Museum"
  Advance reservations are required. Members $50, Nonmembers $60.
• Sunday, May 15, 1 - 3PM. "Fashion Show"
  Come have lunch and view the latest fashions. Mullberry Corners presents a new summer line. Enjoy a
  three course lunch and admire the clothes as models walk the runway at the museum.
  Advance reservations are required. Members $30, Nonmembers $35.

JUNE
• Friday, June 3, 6 - 8PM. "Captain David Kelley House Gala Event"
  Our annual evening on the lawn hosted at the Captain David Kelly House, with fine wine, food, and music.
  The traditional kick off to the summer season with our themes this year of Bearded Sea Captains,
  Ladies in Capes, and Men in Vests. Advance reservations required. Members $30, Nonmembers $35.

• Wednesday, June 15, 10AM - 3PM. "Centerville House Tour"
  The bi-annual tour of six Centerville homes. In conjunction with the Centerville Library, this tour
  features historic, contemporary, and unusual homes. Ticket price $25 per person.

JULY
• Friday, July 8, 3 - 5PM. "Cape'Scaping: Creating and Managing Landscapes on Cape Cod"
  Michael Talbot, BA, MCH, ISA, will speak on how to create and manage landscapes in harmony with
  Cape Cod's fragile environment. Members $5, Nonmembers $8.
• Friday, July 22, 5 - 7PM. "Meet the Artist Reception - Scott Nash"
  Scott Nash has illustrated over 30 children's books and has developed and produced animated properties
  for Disney, Nickelodeon, and MTV. On exhibit will be original illustrations, drawings, and 3-D marquettes
  all related to the process he follows to illustrate a final published children's book.
• Saturday, July 23, 10AM. "Kids & Pirates"
  Join artist Scott Nash for a morning of storytelling, booksigning and demonstrations. Free admission.

AUGUST
• Saturday August 13, 10AM & 11:30AM . "Main Street Walking Tour"
  Take the walking tour of Main Street Centerville with architect Ralph Tolbert. This tour will give
  you all the insights into the homes along Main Street. Members $2, Nonmembers $4.
• Saturday, August 13, 9AM - 3PM. "6th Annual Yard Sale"
  Our 6th annual Yard Sale will be held during Centerville's Old Home Week. Please donate any items you
  no longer need or want, including bric-a-brac, antiques, small furniture, collectibles, artwork, old
  jewelry, etc. Please no clothing, electronics, or damaged items. Items will be accepted at the museum
• Saturday, August 20, 7PM. "Introduction to Classical Feng Shui"
  Marie-Pierre Dillenseger will introduce the fundamentals of the ancient discipline of Feng Shui while
  providing perspective on the contemporary forms of this Art. Marie-Pierre Dillenseger established
  FSRC France(Feng Shui Research Center) in 1999 and she received the title of Master by Chinese Master
  Joseph Yu in 2002. Members $5, Nonmembers $10. www.powerspaces.com

SEPTEMBER
• Wednesday, September 21, All Day. "Annual Golf Tournament Outing"
  Ballymeade Country Club, East Falmouth. Call museum for information and registration.
• Friday, September 30, 5 - 7PM. "Opening Reception - CCIAEA"
  Celebrate the opening of the exhibit featuring the Cape Cod and Islands Art Educators Association.
  This exhibit includes paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, and sculpture by contemporary
  Cape Cod art educators.

OCTOBER
• Saturday, October 15, 5:30 - 8:30PM. "Progressive Dinner"
  Enjoy a three part dinner at three different locations within walking distance. Select wines and
  hors d'oeuvres at one location will be followed by dinner at individual homes, followed by desert
  at the third location. Members $50, Nonmembers $60.

• Tuesday, October 18, 9AM - 4:30PM. "Bus Trip to MFA"
  Join us for a bus trip to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Please make your
  reservation by October 14. Call museum for further details.
  Cost: $75 per person.

NOVEMBER
• Tuesday, November 8. "Annual Meeting & Volunteer Luncheon"
• Friday, November 18, 7:30PM. "An Evening of Poetry and Readings"
  Several renowned Cape Cod poets, play-writes, and storytellers will be gathered to delight everyone
